Building a Simple Sentence

English word order does a lot of the work. Before you memorise a rule, make a sentence that sounds natural.
Subject, verb, action
You placed the person first: She. Then came the helping verb is, and then the action reading. This is a useful present-continuous pattern: subject + am/is/are + verb-ing.
